Why this hadn't occurred to me until Wes pointed it out ... just goes to show how silly I can be. It's obvious now that he pointed it out, but ... somehow I'd had in my mind's eye a roughly-my-age housemate, and it hadn't even occurred to me that that's actually really unlikely.
